Jamaica- Causeway

Fishermen's cabins line the shore and contemporary fibre-glass fishing boats lie side-by-side with traditional canoe-like fishing boats along the Causeway in Kingston.  The design of these traditional boats reflects the shape of the original Carib dug-outs which can still be seen today.
The catch in the Causeway is usually made up of Snapper, Grunt, Herring and Blue Parrot.
