Grenada - St George's Market

The St George's Market, with its traditional red iron structures, is famous for its innumerable vendors or 'traffickers', bustling animated atmosphere, and the abundance and size of its produce, be it bananas, citrus or spices.

Although much of the market has now changed in adapting to more contemporary activities and tastes, it nonetheless retains much of its original clolour and liveliness.
